Waste Reduction: Targeting 100M pounds (~45M kgs) of landfill waste reduction by 2025 and exceeded that at the end of calendar year 2024.

Water Savings: An independent study found our curbside recyclable shippers reduce water use by 91%. We continue to pursue additional initiatives to further minimize water usage in our manufacturing processes.

As the global leader in Reusable and Single-use sustainable thermal packaging shippers for the life sciences industry, we are committed to the safe transport of life-saving medications and environmental leadership.

While most of the Single use shippers in the thermal packaging space are made from EPS, and PUR (polyurethane), CCT committed to identifying materials that are “greener" and evaluated them holistically “cradle to grave”. As a result, CCT launched our sustainable and 100% curbside recyclable insulation shipper in 2021 and have since, expanded the portfolio to include many new variants.

  • Following the baseline assessment (expected in early Q3), CCT will define science-based targets and a clear emissions reduction timeline.

  Cold Chain Technologies (CCT) is currently undertaking a project to evaluate its Scope 1 (direct emissions from operations) and Scope 2 (indirect emissions from purchased energy) greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions across all sites under its operational control.

  Objectives of the Initiative:

  A verified baseline is essential to set a credible and measurable emissions reduction target.

  Emissions data will help identify high-impact areas, enabling more strategic investments and actions.

  A detailed site-by-site and company-wide assessment of Scope 1 and 2 emissions, following the Greenhouse Gas Protocol.

  • Data Quality Assessment

  A report evaluating the accuracy and completeness of the emissions data, with recommendations for future improvements.
