June 12, 2008

HOLLISTON, Mass. – June 12, 2008 – Cold Chain Technologies (CCT), a global supplier of temperature control packaging and thermal testing, is proud to announce the opening of its new plant in Reno, Nevada, major expansions of its Massachusetts and Tennessee plants, and doubling of its Massachusetts thermal testing facility.

CCT’s reach is further spread by its partnerships with Foam Fabricators, a leading molded-EPS foam manufacturer with locations across North America, and Topa Packaging, a European-based manufacturer and distributor of Cold Chain’s products. According to Larry Gordon, President of CCT, “We’ve made a major investment in expanding our facilities and establishing partnerships in direct response to our customer’s needs for local, on-time delivery and support. We’ve located our plants near pharmaceutical distribution centers and logistics providers.”

CCT has backed up its physical expansion with well qualified, experienced personnel. Jeff Bernardi, Reno Plant Manager, and his team will manufacture CCT products according to the same strict standards and quality control followed in Massachusetts, Tennessee, and Europe. West Coast customers will also be supported by San Francisco-based Jamie Chasteen, Cold Chain’s new West Coast Sales Engineer.

Bob Bohne, CCT’s Vice President, General Manager, states, “As always, our lean operation is focused on improving efficiency and service levels as we increase capacity in production and distribution. We recognize the impact of being close to our customer’s distribution network. As our business grows, we’re committed to expanding our presence even further in the U.S. and Europe.”
