Update: March 20, 2020

It is our position, based on our understanding of known state and federal guidelines, that Cold Chain Technologies and our first- and second-tier suppliers are Essential Businesses that can, and should, maintain manufacturing operations throughout the COVID-19 emergency. Shelter in Place does not apply to manufacturing companies that are producing critically-needed, essential materials.

Cold Chain Technologies is exempt from any local, state, or federal non-essential business closures, because we manufacture products which are required for the distribution of life-sustaining and life-saving pharmaceutical products.

Thus, in the event of a Shelter in Place or non-essential business closure directive from any state in which we operate, we will continue to manufacture our thermal shipping solutions which sustain the global pharmaceutical supply chain.

Your supply from Cold Chain Technologies will not be interrupted.

Thank You,

Bob Bohne
President, Cold Chain Technologies

Cold Chain Technologies is working diligently to protect the health and safety of our employees and families and to provide an uninterrupted supply of our thermal packaging solutions to support the global pharmaceutical supply chain.

To Our Valued Customers and Partners,

In recent days, it has become clear that COVID-19 represents a serious global health risk, and that we all share an obligation to support local, nationwide, and global initiatives to limit the spread of the disease. Cold Chain Technologies has been closely monitoring worldwide developments in order to adapt our day-to-day practices to ensure the health and safety of our employees and the continuity of our core business operations, as we are an integral part of the global pharmaceutical supply chain.

We are following the recommendations of the state governments in which we operate, the CDC, and US State Department relative to our employees’ health and safety. In keeping with this, we are providing additional practical and instructional resources to all our employees to reduce the spread of infection.

In addition, we are restricting international travel and limiting domestic travel to business critical only. Further, we have mandated strict remote-work policies for all personnel other than manufacturing, and certain other support employees at all our facilities. For those remaining on-site employees, we have enacted policies which limit access to certain areas within our facilities, as well as reduce non-essential person-to person interactions. Finally, we have enacted procedures to strictly limit access to our facilities
by non-employees.
