va-Q-tainer pre-qualified Passive Transport Containers - U.S.
Holds U.S. Pallet-sized Payloads
C apable of holding 40" x 48" (U.S. Pallet) and 48" x 48" sized loads, this durable and reusable passive system provides excellent uniform thermal protection for packaging pharmaceuticals. It has been pre-qualified by CCT to hold 2°C to 8°C for up to 9 days under both summer and winter conditions in one universal packout, as tested against ISTA 5B temperature profiles. It is also capable of holding -15°C conditions for more than 72 hours under 30°C soaking.
The va-Q-tainer U.S. pallet system is able to meet these challenges by uniquely combining high-performance vacuum
insulated panels (VIPs) with form-fitting phase change materials (PCMs). The PCMs fit along the walls and above the payload. The vacuum panels are securely fitted and protected by outer walls comprised of rigid multi-layered urethane and reinforced fiberglass. The level of vacuum can easily be checked using the patented va-Q-check. The panels are designed to maintain their vacuum for many years of use and are capable of being serviced as required.
Cold Chain Laboratories, our affiliated company, is available to conduct full qualification testing on your payload.
