Monitor In-Transit Temperature Chart Recorder
The Monitor In-Transit (Monitor II) temperature chart recorder is a tamper-resistant, simple-to-operate, single-use, reliable battery-powered device that generates a permanent paper strip chart data record of temperature conditions and time duration for up to 10 days run time. Each unit has a tamper-evident seal with a bar code and serial number. The Monitor In Transit requires no preconditioning of the indicator, product, or package. The Monitor In-Transit recorder provides visible start-up verification, NIST traceable.
Instructions for Use
Storage: The shelf life of the Monitor In-Transit is one year from date of purchase. Preconditioning and special storage are not required.
Application: Fill out the informational tag and remove the top (white) copy. Pull the tab to activate the monitor. Remove the adhesive strip from the cover and close the flap. Place the monitor in the container or on the product.
Interpretation of Results: At destination, the receiver cuts the tamper-evident seal, pushes in on the cover, and lifts up to remove the data chart from the recorder. The chart documents the temperature history of the shipment.
