Our network of over 20 manufacturing and distribution plants enables us to quickly meet your domestic and international cold chain needs for insulated shipping products. We mitigate your risk by providing multiple sources for our entire line of products.

Our corporate headquarters, located in Massachusetts, is the hub of our customer service, sales, engineering and thermal testing, R & D, and manufacturing (90,000 sq. ft.). We also have manufacturing and distribution plants in Tennessee (84,000 sq. ft.) and Nevada (42,500 sq. ft.). Together with Foam Fabricators Inc, we provide molded EPS solutions throughout North America and Europe. Cold Chain Technologies’ (CCT) products are also available from VWR distribution centers.

CCT has a major presence in Europe thanks to our strategic partnership with Topa Packaging (and Topa Instituut), which manufactures and distributes our Koolit refrigerants and KoolTemp containers.

Our support of your cold chain programs goes beyond our products and services. We’ll audit your entire cold chain program on-site at your plant. We’ve established a network of JIT freezers locations for delivery of chilled and frozen refrigerants.

Massachusetts Thermal Testing Lab (cGMP Compliant, ISTA Certified)

CCT’s lab in Holliston MA continues to be the technical leader within the markets that we serve, including pharmaceutical, biotech, direct patient pharmacies, transplants, third party logistics (3PL), and wholesalers. Our experienced engineers are ready to design, evaluate, and qualify thermal solutions. At our thermal testing lab, we’ve tested thousands of designs, and developed many innovative designs, such as our pre-qualified GTS family of products.

Massachusetts Plant (ISO 9001:2000 Registered)

Our 90,000 square foot plant in Holliston, Massachusetts is dedicated to warehousing and manufacturing our entire line of Koolit® refrigerants, as well as EPS cut sheet, XPS cut sheet, and KoolTemp™ molded polyurethane containers. (Molded EPS containers are manufactured in partnership with Foam Fabricators Inc.) We’re committed to providing you with a well-tuned operation, including just-in-time delivery.

Tennessee Plant (ISO 9001:2000 Registered)

At 84,000 square feet, our LaVergne, Tennessee plant has the capacity to service nearby distribution hubs for major pharmaceutical companies. It’s conveniently located near logistical providers in the Midwest.

Reno Plant (ISO 9001:2000 Pending)

Our newest 42,500 square foot plant in Sparks, Nevada, was established to service West Coast customers, including a growing number of clinical, pharmaceutical, and biotech companies. Production in Reno of Koolit refrigerants, and KoolTemp containers are conducted according to the same strict production protocols, and quality standards as followed in our Massachusetts and Tennessee plants.

Molded EPS Containers – Partnership with Foam Fabricators Inc.

To provide with you custom and off-the-shelf molded EPS containers, we’ve partnered with Foam Fabricators Inc., which has well-located, high capacity manufacturing facilities throughout the country. We own numerous molding tools.

Europe – Partnership with Topa Packaging

Our Koolit refrigerants and KoolTemp containers are manufactured in Europe by Topa Packaging, under a licensing agreement. Topa Packaging is a major provider of cold chain solutions throughout Europe.
