CCT Hires Raffaele Potami, Ph.D.
Senior Mechanical Engineer

Holliston, MA - July 20, 2009 - Cold Chain Technologies (CCT), announces the hiring of Raffaele Potami Ph.D., Senior Mechanical Engineer. At CCT, a global supplier of temperature control packaging and thermal testing, Potami will participate in special R & D projects, thermal design optimization, and the application of KoolDesignsTM, its predictive thermal modeling software. KoolDesigns is a tool that increases design speed of new shippers by an iterative optimized approach. A postdoctoral researcher and Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from Worcester Polytechnical Institute, Potami brings a wealth of experience and expertise in writing, running and analyzing CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics), which is used in KoolDesigns. Potami also holds bachelors and masters degrees from the University of Rome.
