Expanded Manufacturing Capacity Under General Manager, Bob Bohne

Holliston, Massachusetts: July 05, 2007 - Increasing capacity and improving its lean operation has gone on a fast track at Cold Chain Technologies with the addition of Bob Bohne as General Manager. A Cornell University-trained mechanical engineer, Bob has 25 years of experience managing manufacturing and engineering operations serving the pharmaceutical, biotech, medical instrument, and academic laboratory markets. Bob is applying his experience and knowledge of the stringent requirements of these market segments to drive improvements designed to help Cold Chain better serve its customers. He’s overseeing the company’s continued growth in capacity, enhanced service levels, and efficiency gains in production and distribution.

INCREASED CAPACITY - Cold Chain’s expanded manufacturing facilities will support increasing demand for KoolTempTM insulated containers, Koolit® refrigerants, and its growing line of pre-qualified thermal solutions. According to Bob, “We’re very excited that Cold Chain is expanding its production, warehousing and distribution in both Tennessee and Massachusetts.”

Cold Chain’s reach is further spread by its partnerships with Foam Fabricators, a leading molded EPS foam manufacturer with locations across North America, and Topa Verpakking, a European-based manufacturer and distributor of Cold Chain’s products.
